With members across three continents, SRCA is an AIA Continuing Education Provider, a member of the International Federation for the Roofing Trades (worldwide), and an Affiliate Member of the American National Roofing Contractors Association. SRCA has published natural quarried slate roofing installation guidelines in English and Spanish, freely accessible to the public, and is developing comprehensive training programs on slate roof installation, repair, restoration, and flashing. Through its Membership Listings, Contractor Directory, and Source Lists (see drop-down lists above), SRCA connects slate roofing professionals and contractors with the public.”

We warmly invite you – members, partners and friends of the international roofing trade – to join us in Bratislava. Look forward to almost three days of professional exchange, international networking, and inspiring encounters. The programme offers not only current insights into our trade, but also a platform for dialogue and fresh ideas – in an open and collegial atmosphere. Our attractive partner programme offers companions (wives, partners, etc.) the chance to discover the beautiful city of Bratislava in the heart of Europe.
Please register via our website: IFD AWARD & KONGRESS in Bratislava – IFD Roof Registration deadline: 9 September 2025 – please register by this date at the latest. Hotel: The congress programme takes place at the Sheraton Bratislava. A limited number of rooms at special rates have been reserved for participants. Further information is provided in the programme. Participants are also free to choose other hotels in Bratislava. Please note that accommodation is not included in the congress package. All pricing and service details are available in the program. Cost is 620 Euros ($717.00) for the full registration (same for accompanying guests)

29th World Championship of Young Roofers and 72nd International Federation of the Roofing Trades (IFD) Congress in Innsbruck. The World Championship is an international event where young professionals demonstrate their skills and competencies in a competitive environment. The participants come from different countries and have the opportunity to compete in the disciplines of facade (wall), flat roof, pitched (steep) roof, or metal roof. (read more on our IFD page)
The 73rd IFD Congress in conjunction with the IFD AWARD will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia from October 22-25, 2025. The 74th IFD Congress and the 30th World Championship of Young Roofers (Pitched – Metal – Flat Roof) / Facade Builders will be held in Budapest, Hungary from October 12-16, 2026. We ask you to save these dates in your calendar.

IFD 2023, October 11-14, Bolzano, Italy
The 2023 IFD Congress and Awards took place in the northern Italian Alps in the 850-year-old village of Bolzano.
